Grocery Shopping

1. Purchase the ingredients and supplies you still need for your menu from the local grocery story. You are encouraged to purchase from WalMart so that the item costs are comparable or equal to those you budgeted for using WalMart.com

However, I fully support you going to locally-owned grocery businesses as well!

2. Purchase each of the items on your list. Make sure you remain under your budget. If certain items take you over budget, you will need to exchange them for more cost-efficient, affordable options. It's okay to adjust and change your ingredients slightly, because staying under budget is what is most important!

3. After purchasing your items, send a picture of your receipt total to Mrs. Marcell through email. This is how you will receive units for this lesson. Your total on your receipt needs to be within the budget you wrote down on your planning sheet, and item costs should be close to what you planned for on your supply list.

Contact Mrs. Marcell via email with any questions,
or to submit homework photos / assignments.
